albear_garniIt's been a rare weekend in Berkeley for us - we entertained some colleagues of mine, as one of them is moving to our firm's Madison office. It was a potluck with lots of good food (multinational this being Berkeley) Indian, Korean, Pan-Asian, California. We wound up going to our local fancy ice cream shop (ICI - http://www.ici-icecream.com/) and I had honey/walnut sage ice cream - yummy!
In any case the party was also an excuse to go to the Folsom Street Fair today - Awright! Saw Mark and Steve at the BOSF Beer booth, as well as Jim from Fresno (BIG woofs) and David Perkins. Also saw Desmond and Paul, and then ran into Augustus.
Took lots of pics of nekkid bears, and did my annual calendar shopping for friends back east at the Bare Chest booth. Didn't stay too long past 2 and went home by way of Macy's for a new watch band. Came home, researched apartments for our trip to Argentina, and cooked dinner.
Oh, and by the way, we discussed plans for our upcoming wedding (just a civil ceremony at SF City Hall at this time) on October 29th! Woo-hoo!
I disappear in a few days to go to SoCAL for work through Friday - maybe I can escape to Disney for a spell....
