Too Long...

It's been way too long since I've posted.   It's almost summer already, so I feel like I better start to use this resource.  Here are a few things on my mind....

NO longer have to worry about moving, as our place was bought by the former neighbors, and they want us to stay - whew, I was getting us ready to move to Jack London Square.  In retrospect, not too sure if THAT would've been a good idea.  Although the rentals looked nice, being so close to Amtrak would not have been much fun. 

Caught a bit of Jackass No. 2 the other day.  Mostly silly, although the John Waters bit with the big guy jumping naked onto the little guy *caught* my attention.  So, I tivoed it to play later on at the Mendocino place.

About to go to Chicago for Neocon, the annual interior design event at the Merchandise Mart.  Lots of seminars, showroom tours, wining and dining.  One of the best highlights will be the big San Fran "birthday" event at Sidetracks Bar on Sunday night.   I'll come back exhausted, but energized.

Grilled peaches - bought some peaches last week at the Crocker Galleria farmers market.  It's a little early, but the peaches truned out to be OK.  We stopped by to visit some old friends in Healdsburg on Sunday, and brought the peaches with us.  They wound up being grilled with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar brushed-on - it brought back lots of summer memories, especially the fresh peach and fresh banana ice cream a cousin in Maryland used to make when I was a kid.

Definitely time to think more about summer...
