Turkeys

David took this pic of turkeys in the "backyard" of our place outside of Willits.  Seeing them got me thinking about random Turkeys...

1. Taking the LEED exam on Monday (i need to do this for work - I'm an architect, you know) got me to thinking about the Toxic Avenger - I saw this a while ago on cable, and forgot just how silly/bad this movie is!  Almost as funny as "Young Frankenstein."  However, the scene in the tacqueria, when the "drunk" clerk falls to the floor with french fires all over his exposed belly did not have the affect on me I'm sure the director intended...

2. California Drivers and Cell Phones - what happened?  I thought it was against the law to use a cell phone and drive at the same time. 

3. The economic bail out - I want me some o' that there money, too!

4.  Prop 8 - lets hope we hear something positive by Thanksgiving.  BTW, if you havent seen "Inlaws and Outllaws" yet, go the the website and buy a copy!  Maybe if enough pro-8'ers saw it, some might just change their minds.
